Agility Clip

Mommy Shirz has no time to post as she's still obsessed with 'Lost' (I saw her finish episide 20 last night and I think she only has 4 more to go to complete season 1, and now, she's started on 'Taken'. Someone's got to do something about that addiction! Woof!

Anyway, as promised, here's a short clip of my 'agility test' (604 KB). Of course, I passed it with style (otherwise I wouldn't be showing it here).

Will be putting up another clip at a later date. Still trying out several video hosting sites to see which one is the best (I've submitted one to google but they haven't approved it). Yeah, I'm a tech dog alright. ;)

Photoblog

This is turning into a photoblog but hey, a picture is worth a thousand words, no? :P

3rd day in a row at Parkers Reserve.
One way to hide the ugly hotspot is by covering it.
I must say Daddy Joe did it quite well. :)

The other way is to turn it away from the lens. ;)

ps: next update - video of my agility test! Woof!

Hotspot

No idea how I got this 'hotspot' but the vet was darn sure it's "self-inflicted" (talk about evidence-based diagnosis!). He shaved the affected area clean and gave me an injection to stop the itch. I was all zonked out the rest of that day and was confined indoors for 4 long days (because I couldn't wear the collar). *Sobs*

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I advise you do this as a last resort.

Finally, the begging paid off!
This is Parkers Reserve (the size of 4 football fields?).
I ran till my paws buckled under me. :)

Lost

Thanks to Atari for getting me lost in 'Lost' (the dramatic version of 'Cast Away' plus all the twists) ... I'm beyond hooked (just finished episode 18), and I'm trying to get my hands on 19. I'm a goner!

In other news, happy birthday wild boar ... :P

Amazing News

Ha! Just when I thought I'd kicked Joe outta the page, he "retaliated" with a new entry! Maybe he felt "invaded" and decided to post. :P Anyway, just to add on to the pieces of amazing news he shared, here's an excerpt of one I came across (almost as inventive as the royal wedding ;)).
A Russian man born with genitals so small that he was unable to have sex has been given the chance to lead a normal love life after a new penis was "grown'' on his arm during pioneering surgery.
In an 11-hour operation, plastic surgeons in Moscow removed the 28-year-old's undersized penis and stitched it on to his left forearm, where they grafted on additional flesh and tissue taken from his inner arm. The newly enlarged organ, which had grown from less than 2ins to nearly 7ins, was then reattached to his groin.
His surgeon, Professor Mikhail Sokolshchik, of the National Medical Surgical Centre, hopes that the patient will eventually be able to have sexual relations and father children.
And apparently,
it is thought that up to one in 200 men are born with "micropenises'' - the medical term for male genitalia that are less than two inches long when aroused.

Wow.
